Every year, my school holds a sports meeting in December. Last week we had the school sports meeting on our school sports ground.  We were very excited about it, as we could watch the wonderful games and didn’t have classes. My school’s sports meeting lasted two days, all the students and teachers went to the playground to watch the games. This time I was a judge for long jump. As a judge, I was so nervous and yelled out “come on” to all the long jumpers, watching as they jumped very far and won prizes. I was so proud of all of them.

Some of my students took part in the high jump, long jump and so on. When I saw them  get to the final line, I was  very excited, too. The part I like most is the relay race, as it is very exciting, with all the students yelling loudly. All the athletes chased one by one, and nobody could be sure who is the champion until the last minute. The competition begins! The students ran very fast on the playground. The others were shouting “come on” to their classmates and encouraging them. The sports meeting brought us so many beautiful memories. It was really an exciting day.

 Sadly, my students didn’t win the first prize in the sports meeting, but I think they were very good anyway. In the relay race, they tried their best to win for their class. We should learn hard work from the competitors.
