The Books Are Popular Here, and It Smells Great

  The conference in Ms. Che’s group about how to improve the quality of reading for teachers is held in the special office, which is set for the famous teacher, Ms. Che, in Shuangliu District, Tanghu Elementary School(TES), Chengdu. All the members took part in this discussion on time on Sep. 14th, 2017.

In the conference, Ms. Che recalled the activities in the last school year, speak highly of their efforts to encourage teachers to read and improve teachers’ inner world in TES. Furthermore, she studied the problems in the process of research and came up with the idea to enhance the influence of their research and then all the teachers’ in her group gave their own suggestions. Ms. Li, the director of the teaching and reading section, said that this group got great achievements in the last year and encouraged them to search for more effective reading model to benefit more teachers.

This group has received some suggestive advice from Ms. Li, the headmaster of TEL at the start of this research group. She advised them to collect some useful ways for application and expressed her hope that their reading activities can influence more teachers in the school and form more reading clubs.

This topic of this meeting is to how to start reading clubs for teachers. All the members came up with their own ideas. All the members agreed that official invitations are needed and reading in clubs is a kind of fashionable way of life. And then they reached a consensus on the number of people, content, time and so on.

If all age groups take part in these reading clubs, more surprising ideas will appear. Although it is a fact that all kinds of problems will emerge, they believe that more effective ways will come to their mind to improve the quality of teachers’ reading. Thus reading leads teachers toward the path to happiness.
