Recently with year one, we looked at the story of the 'Three Little Pigs' and their adventures with the Big Bad Wold. Withthe repetitive nature of the language within the story and the use of three words and syllables to describe the characters - it creates a memorable dialogue that the children are able to practise and be reminded of the cute characters and different types of materials within the story. Furthermore it produces a good message about working hard to achieve something sustainable for the future. Here are the posters that the students created in response to the story that we studied.
