On November 24^th, 2017, Liu Xv, director of the education institute, guided the education of internationalization in Tanghu Elementary school. Under the guidance of Principal Li Shunrong and vice Principal Zheng Xiang, Mr Liu visited our campus, learning that the theory on school management is multi-dimensional development leads to everyone’s success. Every class had their own exhibition stand; it showed the name of the class, the students’ hard work and something unique about their class. From all of them, the column called “walking towards the world” laid a deep impression on him.

The director of the foreign affairs office Mr Zhang Shuai gave a report on the educational internationalization of our school.

Then Mr Liu explained the definition of educational internationalization. It’s not just about bilateral and multilateral communication; also it’s not just about hiring a foreign teacher.  He pointed out that the key to the internationalization of education is improving our knowledge and understanding of the world. Education internationalization is holding ourselves to the international standard of education. At this stage, education internationalization is to learn from international standards, to guide people to not only hold a Chinese Dream, but also to participate in international rules.

At last, he said: “the education of international understanding is the core of education internationalization”. Therefore we must set this as our course and goal for the future.

Combining theory and practice, we will make new progress in our international work.
