In the afternoon of November 7^th , all the teachers from Grade 1 got together to discuss the new teachers’ first class. The teachers from Xichang also took part in the meeting.

This event was presided over by Wu Hengxin, the group leader of Grade 1. She introduced the intentions and the processes of the activity. Meanwhile, she required the new teachers talked about their teaching processes and methods, according to the teaching objects and difficulties.

The teachers prepared the teaching design in advance, and they actively talked about their first lessons. Ms. Luo, the tutor of Shuangliu District Famous Teacher Studio, put forward valuable suggestions according to the new teachers’ teaching designs. From Luo’s words, new teachers knew that low grade literacy teaching should be based on interests, and each class shouldn’t be too complicated. 1-2 literacy games can stimulate the children’s interests and won’t affect the class order. The method of making children’s songs can also stimulate the children’s interests. Other teachers also put forward their views on the topic “interesting literacy teaching strategy research of the first grade ”. At the same time, the teachers from Xichang teachers delegation also talked about their own views in combination with their own teaching!
