Practicing the words and imagination can make wonderful words

There is no cold at the beginning of winter. On November 8th, the day after the beginning of winter, a research institute of research activities was held in our school. We talked about our confusion with composition writing. All activities were full of teaching and warmth for composition writing. Some teachers from Xichang took part  in this research activity.

In order to improve the quality of composition teaching, it is imperative to improve the quality of composition writing classes. After the Chinese teacher Jin Furong’s writing class “describe the picture, expand imagination", Zhao Hongxia of our elementary school generalized the evaluation part, focusing on a point about evaluation guidance, and she had a class with the kids from Class Four, Year Four. She captured action expression, imagination, explicit method, and writing characters. She played the leading role of the class, changing the content clearly, giving the methods that check the composition, and capturing how the character's movement and expression, hammers repeatedly through the imagination. The layers are pushed forward and the gradient is built. The sample text was presented and the action was felt. Thorughout the whole class, Ms Zhao gave specific guidance to the students' practice examples, and conducted solid training.

The presentation of the class was the highlight of the study, and the after-class collective assessment made the class even better. Ms Che spoke highly of the class and gave some advice :First, we should stick to the key teaching points, purposefully comment on students fragments; second, the composition should be presented with positive and negative cases. In the end, we should stimulate students’ imagination, the teacher's evaluation should be kept on the theme of the composition, and repeatedly emphasize the methods of revision in this class to strengthen students' cognition. The purpose of the modification process is to surpass ones previous self; in contrast, exchange experiences, open communication between teachers and students to help comprehension of writing rules, broaden the students way of thinking, and stimulate students writing potential.

Students also combined their recent research of project teaching, talked about their feelings: composition evaluation can't focus only on perfection, only by guiding the students step-by-step can we help the children make steady progress. Teachers and students can all improve their writing ability, through reading more and writing more. The so-called "teaching and learning" is what the teachers now understand!
