A training meeting was hosted by the center of educational technology in Tanghu Primary School on the afternoon of September 15, 2017, which was about the characteristic course’s information management. Its purpose was to make use of modern information technology (WeChat) to achieve better communication between school and family, improve the safety attendance of the characteristic course and to promote the construction of a digital campus. The meeting is hosted by Xu Jie, the director of the Educational Technology Center.

Before the training ,all of the teachers used “Micro School” to register their attendance at the meeting, which was to carry out WeChat communication work. The training was divided into 2 parts. Firstly, the worker showed the process of how to set up a characteristic course and have a class. The teachers then practiced according to the demonstration. The technical workers helped teachers solve the operational problems. Subsequently, Mr.Xu made a supplement. He put emphasize on the principal roles of school teachers, parents, and students-which is of great significance for promoting the construction of a digital campus.

“Internet Plus” has become an important field of education. WeChat is widely used and has a rich function, which let us see the possibilities of it’s use in school education. In order to find, develop and make use of students’ ability, Tanghu Primary School carries out a characteristic course at the beginning of the project With the development of the school’s internet platform, Tanghu Primary School will fully mobilize the social resources of education, arouse students’ enthusiasm for learning, and try to promote the healthy growth of students. In the end, we’ll gradually build a rich school-based resource platform.
