Tanghu Elementary School (TES) Can Continue its Winning Streak

A teaching meeting for music, art, and P. E was held by Mr. Zheng, the Vice President on 13 September 2017 in Tanghu Elementary School (TES). The director of teaching moral affairs, Ms Lei, invited all the music teachers, gym teachers, and art teachers to make a detailed plan for creating the culture in the school.

The overall arrangement was put forward at first and then a detailed explanation was given by Mr. Zheng. The explanation includes four aspects: teaching rules, teaching assessment, sport events, and club construction

Teaching rules: All the teachers should try their best to have high quality courses according to the course syllabus, which is called “three-stage strategy” and the development program of TPS. Grasping teaching rules is a professional quality of teachers and essential for all the teachers. Good teaching rules can ensure the order of teaching in schools. Teachers should pay attention to the four aspects: teaching preparation, teaching research, lesson design and teaching progress.

Assessments: All the teachers should plan ahead on the assessment of physical health, the artistic quality, and the comprehensive quality to carry out multi-dimensional development for every student.

School Contests: Tanghu Primary School has set an example to other schools on the teaching of football, basketball and arts. Although all the teachers are full of pressure to keep the honor of winning, they should also try their best to do the training for the school’s future.

Club Construction: Mr. Zheng provided some useful suggestions on attracting students, training students, and collecting students’ works, and encouraged clubs to gain high performance.

At last, Ms Lei, the director of teaching moral affairs, encouraged the teachers in every club to use social media to increase the influence to the public.

All the teachers have understood their duties and directions through the conference and believe that their job will be done successfully under the detailed management of TES.
