On April 17^th, the 29^th Sports Day of “Successful Cup” was held in Tanghu Elementary   School as a positive response to “The outline of the nationwide fitness program” based on the policy of quality-oriented education. The sports day this year would last for five days to have over 100 competitions in basketball, football, track and field.

    The sports competitions were set as following

        For the third grade: Basketball

        The basketball games were of great meaning because basketball is regarded as a kind of traditional sport in Tanghu Elementary   School.

For the forth grade: Football

         Football is another kind of traditional sport in this school.

For the fifth grade: Track and field

         The track and field team from Tanghu Elementary   School had won the first prize in the sports meeting of Shuangliu District just like what they did last year. And I believe more and more pupils will become interested in track and field after the sports day.

Look, the cheerleading fought so hard for their class. 

         All the little athletes has done great job in the sports day for they are brave, positive and they never give up, which is good to enhance the cohesion of their class.
