This week I taught Grade 1 again. Although I have been at the school for nearly 3 months now, I've only taught them once before so I was very excited! I decided to teach them about the body, since I found a video I really liked about different body parts. After I taught the children all the body parts we would all sing the song together.

    The song went through all the various body parts, with the children having to point to all the different parts of the body as they were sung about. We would then go over all the body parts we'd learned faster and faster, which the children found absolutely hilarious! They were much fitter than I am, I was always out of breathe by the end. Then the children would come up and point out the body parts on a cartoon body. I hope Grade 1 enjoyed the classes as much as I did, they were great exercise as well as fun! We have also begun rehearsals for Cinderella; a play the English department is putting on at New Years. Jenny, Mandy, Alice, and I are all currently doing read-throughs with the children, and are looking forward to showing it to everyone!
