To encourage our students further to ‘cherish life’ and to have drug prevention awareness, the ability to consciously resist the invasion of drugs, and to create a non-toxic, peaceful, healthy campus, the students had a first hand experience at the local court. On the afternoon of March 22, 2019, all of the teachers and students of the 5.7 Squadron of Tanghu Primary School went to the Shuangliu District People's Court to participate in the “Primary School Admission to the Court” activity under the leadership of Director Liu of the Security Department.

       Upon arriving at the court, the staff at the two courts took the classmates into the courtroom in an orderly and quiet manner. With the clerk's password, everyone stood up and read the court's behavioural requirements in a solemn atmosphere, and the trial began. During the trial, the court conducted a court investigation, inquiry, and heard the defendant’s statement of taking drugs in the shared room, and accommodating two under-age women in taking drugs. The defendant bowed his head and confessed to his criminal acts, and his voice was low and full of regret. The final judge announced that he was sentenced to seven months.

After the trial, the court staff led the students to visit the temporary detention room of the court, the real-time surveillance camera of the trial court, and the use of the handcuffs and telescopic sticks on the prisoners.

On the way back, the students said that drugs not only harm their own bodies, but also seriously damage the family and society. We must be self-respecting, and establish a correct outlook on life, participate in anti-drug activities, and enhance anti-virus consciousness and anti-drug confidence.

Drugs are deadly devils. Drug abuse is an express train that catches humans up to hell. It is a behaviour of human chronic suicide. Teenagers are the flowers of the motherland, and the big devil of drugs is endangering these hopeful young lives all the time. Wuhu Primary School has always placed life education at an important position, and strives to establish a correct outlook on life and values for students. Through this activity, our students will surely grow in confidence, sunshine, virtue and personality in a safe environment.
