Lofty ideal is half done
The beautiful Autumn is a harvest season, and also like the flowers blooming in the Spring. On October16th, 2017,the 8th week flag ceremony of Tanghu Primary School was held in the school playground. This flag rising ceremony was undertaken by Year 4 Class 1. The topic was “lofty ideals are half done”. As a famous American novelist Bernard Malamud said, "If a person thinks that they can do a remarkable event in their lives, than those who do not have lofty ideals, so there will be more chances of success. Ideals are like a stone--- knocking out sparks of fire. Ideals are like fire---sparking lights. Ideals are like a lamp, illuminating the road at night. The ideals are the road leading you to the dawn, so we can see how important it is to set up lofty ideals. Then the teacher, Wei Qiuyue, made a summary about the children‘s studies and lives at school last week. She gave some suggestions as well as praise. Subsequently, Xu Jie, the director of the information technology center, brought us some good news. This month, our teacher, Liu Zenghua represented our school in the class match held in Urumqi City, and won the national award of outstanding achievement. Meanwhile, Mr. Xu hoped that the other teachers can make better progress in the next class match. Finally, Zhang Hang , the group instructor, made an overall summary about the children‘s work last week and put forward some new requests: 1) Developing orderly behavior 2) Some requirements for activities in the big break.
