In order to develop and expand the traditional national Culture, stimulate the students’ passion for Chinese characters and promote comprehension , a young children’s learning ancient Chinese literature competition was held in Shunagliu district.

On October 13^th, 2017, children from various primary and secondary schools, under the guidance of their teachers, came early to Tanghu elementary school for the competition.

This competition included 3 parts: contests of reading, writing, and an ancient Chinese Literature knowledge competition. The first part of the competition was to test comprehension, and it also required a strong memory. For the reading contest, they all read affectionately and full of vitality. When writing, they not just wrote the characters, but also expressed their emotions.

The contest of writing was the fiercest one. It was under the guidance of director Wen Xundong, expert Wang Xingguo, and Cai Yvkun from Chengdu University. They named the first, the second and the third prize. Under the cooperation of the Art teacher from our school, this activity achieved complete success.

By means of reading ancient Chinese literature, we can experience and expand the Chinese culture.
