At 10 am., the memorial activity began. All participants stood in lines and showed their respect and mourned the martyrs who devoted their lives to the Chinese revolution. Delegates sang the national anthem. The young leaders from Tanghu Primary School sang the song "we are the successors of communism”. People’s Liberation Army soldiers presented flowers for the martyrs. Representatives from all walks of life sorted out ribbons and looked in turn at the martys’ tombstones with respect. The young leaders from Tanghu Primary School sang the song "we are the successors of communism”. They used the song to express their grief and raise spirits. The Begonia babies, growing up in the warm embrace of the motherland, will remember the revolution history. They will cherish their happy lives, and develop the revolutionary traditions inherited from the heroes of the past. They will keep in mind the expectations of their elders, and render service to the motherland via visiting the cemetery of martyrs and learning the heroes’ stories.
