October 25th 2016 witnessed the splendid opening of "Korean Cultural Week"  in Tanghu primary  school on which the principal Park led a delegate  of 24 students and teachers from the friendly  school, Gimcheon Bugog Elementary School,to visit our school.
       This activity got great support from Shuangliu Educational Bureau and all sectors of society. The chief Ling, in propaganda department, paid a special visit to our school to guide the  arrangement of "Korean Cultural Week".  Numerous leaders and teachers from various institutions such as;  Sichuan  TV, Tanghu teaching group, Yuhong primary  school in  Qingbaijiang, Malvern College  Chengdu  and Kim's Korean training agency in Chengdu  gathered together to participate  in the event.
       The event was aimed to foster the concept of open-ness and inclusiveness as well as to learn about foreign culture.
       Before the arrival of the week, all members in Tanghu Primary school had to research into Korean culture about their costume, food and tradition which enriched their knowledge about foreign country. Besides, students decorated the display boards by themselves.

       The welcome ceremony was launched to know more about Korean culture. Principal Li in Tanghu Primary school introduced the arrangement of this activity and told us her hope that there would be further exchange between Korea and China.                                  

       The principal Park in Gimcheon Bugog Elementary School expressed his thanks to our 

hospitality and his belief that only through this opportunity could we enhance our friendship. Finally,Mr. Zhang ,the director of Global Compact Promotion Office in our school, gave an 

introduction of all members.The delegate enjoyed the choral competition which was the grand  event conducted by Tanghu Primary school and Education Community in Shuangliu. After

lunch, they had a taste of Chinese tea and its tea culture. They gained the knowledge about thetea in Chinese history and achieved an inspiration of extensive and profound Chinese culture.

 All members including Chinese and Korean students and teachers deepened their relationship 

in the course. It is believed that the students in the two schools will be more intimate.
