On December 18^th, the members of Ni xiaoqiong research institute came to Huangjia elementary school for the fifth teaching and researching activity.

Firstly, Zeng Xiaojuan from Huangjia elementary school had the first lesson. Miss Zeng catched hold of students’ learning, mentality, cognitive characteristic. Students reviewed the old knowledge and studied new knowledge by playing game. The duty report before class helped students to practice speaking ability and improved students’ self-confidence. English-learning habits were cultivated during the whole class. This class also showed the student-based teaching idea.

Secondly, Zheng Yi from Tanghu elementary school showed a wonderfull lesson about picture book, the Fox and the Ox. Miss Zheng Made adequate preparation. Miss Zheng unscrambled the pictures of the book deeply. She guided students to think. students’ interesting on picture book reading was improved. Especially, the mind map about blackboard design presented the content of the picture book and helped students to retell the story.

At last, the tutor, Ni Xiaoqiong organized the members to discuss the two lessons. Ms Ni spoke highly of the two new teachers. She encouraged them to make persistent efforts in professional development.
